Heimat

My piece for the Heimat exhibition, presented in Bogotá and Hamburg as part of a collaborative project featuring 50 Colombian and 50 German illustrators. The German word Heimat has no direct translation in Spanish or English. Often associated with ideas of home, belonging, memory, and cultural identity, the exhibition invited each artist to interpret the concept through a personal image shaped by their own experiences, environment, and sense of place. The project was developed in collaboration with HAW Hamburg, Gina Rosas Moncada, and Andrés Muñoz, culminating in exhibitions in both countries and a published book compiling all 100 artworks.
