Premio Gabo 2024

The Premio Gabo 2024 celebrated its eleventh edition this year, recognizing outstanding Ibero-American journalism across five categories under the motto “Journalism Lives”. I was commissioned to create the illustration featured on the diploma presented to the winners. The piece was inspired by "La soledad de América Latina", the powerful speech delivered by Gabriel García Márquez upon receiving the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1982.
